Time Lines
These pictures show the installation of TIME LINES at the Millais Gallery, Southampton Solent University. The show comprised six sequences. The longest, dealing with a long walk, was of trapezoid pictures of 'the ground at my feet' in an apparently interminable series, accompanied by a sound track and a frieze of text. The pictures appeared at some level as steps. The sound track was of the walker's footsteps, again relentless, but eventually no longer noticed. The frieze of words represented the sounds the walker did notice, and named to himself as he heard each one.
